Took me a while to figure out why I couldn't get the wedge in the crack... If you are still stuck with that, here's the 'answer':

Make sure your mouse pointer is a ARROW, NOT a HAND. Change this by clicking right with your mouse. The pointer will change into an arrow. When you click (left click)in your inventory on the wedge, the mouse pointer will turn into the wedge. Then simply put it into the crack... Hurrah !!!

Hope I explained it right.. Good luck

Waiting and hoping for more games !

1. When the inventory is more than one row long, you can access things in the first row but when you move the cursor to the second row, nine times out of ten, the inventory disappears. I'm using Windows 2000, if this helps.

2. When I go to use the wedge, the character says "Use it where?" How can I make it use it where I want to use it?

If you have time to feed back on these points, I'd be grateful, because I'd love to be able to finish the game.

Great game. The graphics looked amazing and the puzzles were challenging, but not stupidly difficult like they are in some adventure games. My only problem was the inventory system; I found it really difficult to access items on the second line. I spent most of the game trying to figure out how to trick my cursor to keep locked on second row inventory items; this is a serious bug and should be fixed (maybe add a scroll bar to your inventory system or something). Otherwise a fabulous effort, and I look to see more of your work! Thanks so much!

I'm really interested in this game. It's not commercial, but has same quality. Great. Where have you done this game (language) and pictures? I'm programmer, too.

I enjoyed Breakdown very much. The only flaw I noticed was that sometimes when I wanted to use an item and my inventory had gone beyond a single line I had trouble selecting the items on the second line of items. This anoying interface problem aside, Good work.
